Similarly, CAL and External Connector License Subscriptions for Azure permit access to new versions of the corresponding software released during the subscription period.Deployment Options for Windows ServerUsing the Software on Microsoft AzureWindows Server subscription licenses provide Azure Hybrid Benefit use rights, as stated in the Azure Hybrid Benefit section of the Microsoft Azure terms.Using the Software on Customerâs ServersAlternatively, Customer may use Windows Server on Customerâs Licensed Servers. Except as provided in the âAzure Hybrid Benefitâ section, licenses may not be concurrently allocated to Azure. Windows Server Subscription Licenses, and Subscription CALs and External Connector Licenses provide the same rights as other volume licensing Windows Server core licenses, CALs and External Connector Licenses, respectively, subject to the same terms and conditions as stated in Windows Server editions. During the term of its subscription, Customer is additionally granted rights equivalent to the rights provided to SA customers under Extended Security Updates, Windows Server Annual Channel for Containers, Self-Hosting and, Disaster Recovery. Use of the software is subject to the same terms and conditions.Deployment Options for SQL ServerUsing the Software on Microsoft AzureSQL Server subscription licenses provide Azure Hybrid Benefit use rights, as stated in the Azure Hybrid Benefits section of the Microsoft Azure terms. Using the Software on Customerâs ServersAlternatively, Customer may use SQL Server on Customerâs Licensed Servers. In this case, SQL Server Standard and SQL Server Enterprise Core Subscription Licenses provide the same rights as other volume licensing SQL Server Standard and SQL Server Enterprise core licenses, respectively, subject to the same terms and conditions as stated in SQL Server. During the term of its subscription, Customer is additionally granted rights equivalent to the rights provided to SA customers under Self-Hosting, Disaster Recovery, License Mobility across Server Farms, Fail-over Rights, Extended Security Updates, Unlimited Containers, and Unlimited Virtualization* as well as rights to use Power BI Report Server*.
